Client Success Story:

Library Jams

The Goethe-Institut aimed to launch a series with two main goals: to showcase talented South African musicians and to have them perform in various libraries around the city, highlighting the cultural and creative potential of these spaces.

Solution

We produced the "Library Jams" series, featuring musicians like Zaki Ibrahim, Langa Mavuso, Msaki, Sio and more, performing live in these unique and intimate settings. Each video captured the essence of both the artists and the atmosphere of the libraries, creating an immersive experience that celebrated local talent while highlighting the versatility of these public spaces.

Impact

Over the course of several years, we showcased over a dozen different musicians in various library locations. Beyond meeting the client’s initial goals, the series expanded visibility for these venues, illustrating how libraries can serve as creative hubs for different disciplines. This not only opened them up to wider audiences but also fostered more creative engagement and interaction within these spaces.
